The Bank Of England Seems Happy With The New Government So Will This Make Enterprises Who Owe Money To Other Enterprises Pay The Overdue Bills?
With the new coalition government more or less up and running and having put out their plan for managing the large national debt and the governor of the Bank of England has praised the plan as “strong and powerful”. The announcement was also welcomed by business leaders, the CBI and the British Chambers of Commerce, so this must bode well for British organisations.
Where a small enterprise has an bill with a large enterprise that has not been paid, they could well be wondering when the economy is going to pick up so that they can start earning money again. As to the overdue bill, the small enterprise would firstly communicate with the large enterprise and be informed why their bill has not been paid. If the reply is that the large enterprise is also seeing a reduction in business, the small enterprise could believe this but at the same time could think that the large enterprise must have reserves and is perhaps just stalling, perhaps in trying to earn a little more interest with the bank. Either way the small enterprise is likely to be in greater need of the bill payment than the large enterprise and so could well feel that they need tolook at what can be done, most likely Debt Collection.
